Description

Day 1

Today you will arrive in London. Our driver will meet you in the arrivals hall, ready to assist you before being driven to your central London hotel. Your hotel will be well situated for access to all the sights and sounds of London. Remainder of the day is on your own.

 Day 2

Today you can enjoy a private tour of the city. Our private guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin the tour. (We can arrange for a chauffeur if you prefer a car and driver). Today you will see

  • Buckingham Palace and changing of the Guard
  • Royal Horse Guards
  • Downing Street
  • Parliament
  • Big Ben
  • West Minster Abbey
  • Tower of London
  • London Eye
  • City Cruise on the Thames

Day 3

Today is a private day with our driver/guide will collect you from your hotel after breakfast and take you to see three of our national treasures, Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Georgian Bath.

Day 4

We have arranged for your driver to collect you in plenty of time for your Eurostar train to Paris. Upon arrival you will be greeted by your driver and transferred to your Paris city center hotel. The remainder of the day will be on your own to begin to explore Paris. This evening after dinner, enjoy a panoramic tour of the city with a driver who will stop as you wish for photos.

Day 5

Take the RER out to Versailles for a visit of the Palace and its grand garden with your private guide. Discover this grand chateau and the state apartments where the Hall of Mirrors and the Queen’s bedroom is located. After your palace visit, since Versailles is known for more than its chateau, you should take some time to stroll through the beautiful French style gardens.   Relax and enjoy   lunch in the gardens or the town of Versailles before returning to Paris.  Tonight a visit to the Eiffel Tower to see the “City of Light” from high above Paris.

Day 6

Begin the day at the Louvre, where you will see some of the highlights that this museum holds, like the ever impressive Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and other famous works of art. Delight in a short walk through the Tuileries Garden with a possible stop to see Monet’s water lily paintings at the L’Orangerie. This afternoon, take a walk past Place de la Concorde, where Marie Antoinette and Louis XVI were beheaded right where the Obelisk of Luxor stands today. Follow up with a stroll down the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe.

Day 7

This morning a visit to the Musée d’Orsay to see their amazing collection of impressionist works. The museum holds the largest impressionist collection in Europe and was once an old train station that is most recognizable for the clock in the façade. After breakfast you are off to Notre Dame where you can visit the cathedral on your own. Gourmet dinner this evening is onboard a yacht to enjoy your last night in Paris on the Seine River.

Day 8

Time to say Au Revoir to Paris, your driver will pick you up at your hotel in time to transfer you for your international flight back home.
