Private truffle and wine tour is available between December and August. This special Truffle and Wine tour allows you a special experience in a historical place !
The beloved truffle is more than simple curiosity. Its origins, scent, taste and color give it the title of “Grande Dame” that is respected the world over. Discover the side of luxury that will stun and delight your senses and bring you closer to your gourmet side.
You will meet with the truffle farmer and his truffle hound who will provide you with the proper tools and show you the special skills of his faithful friend. Then follow him in the hills to look for the “Black Diamond”. On the way learn some of the secrets and see the dog in action and if you are lucky, he might be able to dig out one or several truffles (but there is no guarantee since it is a rare product).
Later in the morning we will leave our truffle-producing farmer and go to a magnificent 17th century “hôtel particulier” and its French style gardens for a truffle and wine based lunch. During the meal, taste 3 different wines to enjoy and discuss.
After this feast, you will have an hour to stroll around the magnificent hill top village that has been awarded for “most beautiful villages in France”.
