Once home to the first Winter Olympics in 1924, Chamonix is set at the base of Mont Blanc and has incredible views that you will not forget. Apres ski is filled with lively nightlife,  casinos and shopping. While everyone will also enjoy the some of the local sights like the Aiguille du Midi cable car for stunning views or the Train du Montenvers to France’s largest glacier the Mer de Glace. Also, don’t miss the Grotte de Glace to see the amazing ice caves.

Arrive

The best way to get to Chamonix is the fly into Geneva GVA airport and then take a shuttle or private driver which takes about 1 hour. However, the most direct way is to take a helicopter and enjoy the view.
